A gold pennanular brooch. The panannular frame is 26mm in diameter and 3mm wide. It is decorated with floriate design which appears to have been etched into a wider sheet and then shaped into its current form. The terminals are domed and adorned with filigree (alternate triangles and circles) and topped with a square cut green glass stone which sits atop the dome. the base and green glass have filigree borders. The frame terminals are 7.5mm in diameter and sit 5mm high. The pin is 44mm long and is attached to teh frmae by a rectangular notch allowing the frame to move freely around…

A very finely worked gold brooch of hollow construction, the brooch takes the form of a six-petalled flower. The obverse is engraved with a black letter inscription which reads 'EN BONE TEMPS' ('in good time'). The inscription is punctuated with foliate scrolls and would originally have contained enamel which is now lost. The reverse has a smaller six-petalled flower which is defined by areas of cross-hatching. The pin of the brooch survives in part but is broken at just over half its length. A gold brooch with a plain thin frame formed into the shape of an asymmetric heart. The brooch is delicate, but complete. The frame is 1.5mm thick and eliptical in cross-section. The pin is present and is secured around the frame at the point where the side of the heart is more accentuated, or outwardly curved, and is narrowed to accomodate it. The collar of the pin is 3.5mm long and is curled around to fit the narrowed frame exactly, It has been soldered to create the impression of a solid tube.
