A complete cast copper alloy medieval brooch. The annular frame has a pointed extension at one end to create a teardrop shape. The extension is decorated with a four-petal flower. The frame is divided into bands decorated with a fine net-like design alternating with plain. Looped around a constriction in the frame is a cast copper alloy pin, which has a transverse moulding. Traces of gilding survive on the front surface and the back is plain. The length is 32.8mm, the width is 25.1mm, the thickness is 2.7mm and the weight is 5.69g.

Incomplete copper alloy Hod Hill or Thistle brooch. Only a small portion of the lower bow and foot remain. The bow is slightly arched and decorated with vertical ribbing. There is a flat semi-circular panel below that is instepped from the bow. The foot is missing though on the reverse of the semi-circular panel there is a flaring raised panel containing the top of the catchplate. This panel is likely to have formed a flat triangular foot.

The solid head is slightly trumpet-shaped with a medial ridge and raised semi-circular panels along the sides. The base of the head has a transverse disc with a moulded collar above and below it, and the hooked 'beak' typical of the type below the disc. The bow is X-shaped in section, with an openwork catchplate emerging at the bottom of the bow.

The bow has a square upper panel ribbed, but with no evidence of lugs. Below are three, perhaps four cross mouldings, with the bow tapering toward the footknob. There is a raised band of cross moulding just above the footknob. Most of the catchplate remains, except for the hook. There is no evidence for tinning.

Fragment of a copper alloy Roman brooch, 24mm in length. The fragment consists of the catchplate and a portion of the bow, which is narrow, with an eliptical cross section 1.8mm thick. The bow is undecorated aside from a transverse ridge and knop at the foot. Circa 1st-2nd century AD.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy disc brooch dating from the Roman period. Length: 50.2mm; width (diameter): 39.7mm; depth: 10.2mm; mass: 16.9g. The brooch is sub-circular in plan, with an incomplete lug at the top and a moulded foot at the base. The front on the circular plate is flat with no decoration visible. On the reverse of the brooch, there is a double lug at the top with a copper alloy axial rod holding an incomplete copper alloy pin, and a complete catchplate with pin rest at the bottom. A copper alloy Roman dolphin brooch. This brooch has a hinge mechanism. Its wings (left one damaged) are decorated with transverse grooves at the ends. The head also has grooves on it, which run over the head and all the way down the bow to the grooves of the foot. There are three pairs of grooves (sides and middle) with transverse lines running the length between each pair. The brooch has a green patina and measures 59.1mm x 35.1mm x 18.6mm, weighing 29.81g. Incomplete copper alloy cruciform brooch dating to the Anglo-Saxon period, circa 6th century AD. Only the upper half of the brooch remains. The headplate is rectangular and divided into three smaller rectangular panels. The central one is proud of the ones either side.
