Medieval cast copper alloy annular brooch, probably 14th century. Circular sectioned circular ring with constriction to take the cast copper alloy pin. The loop of the pin is not joined at its outer end; globular collar below the loop, decorated with incised diagonal lines (two of which form a cross); the remainder of the pin is broken off after the collar. Fine dark green patina. Diameter 31.2mm, thickness (i.e. diameter of frame) 3.2mm, weight 5.38g.

Medieval cast copper alloy miniature annular brooch with decorative frame13th/14th century. Frame made up of 6 oval swellings decorated with numerous irregularly placed incuse dots, with a narrowed transverse ridge between each (two ridges between the two swellings opposite the pin, forming a groove to take the pin); constriction to take the wire pin, which is broken off just after the loop. The frame is flat and undecorated on the reverse. Fine mid green patina. Diameter 16.3mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 1.68g.

A complete enamelled cast copper alloy Roman trumpet-headed brooch dating from second century (100 – 200) AD. The head of the brooch is similar to the more common trumpet brooch whereas the bow extends to a extended enamel plate which expands symmetrically to either side of the bow. It tapers to a regular foot. The brooch measures 35.1mm in length, 8.9mm width (across head), 16.7mm width (across plate) is maximum 8.5mm thick, and weighs 4.01 grams. A copper alloy fibula brooch dating from the Roman period. The pin, spring and most of the catchplate are missing. The bow has a narrow head with very small wings, though these seem to be broken and were probably wider. The back of the head is concave where the spring would have fitted. The bow and head are not decorated except for a central ridge running the whole length. The foot of the brooch is also damaged or missing. This is probably an example of a dolphin brooch. The tapering rectangular foot plate has a set of two transverse lines at the top and two sets of three transverse lines midway down. An early Roman enamelled copper alloy disc brooch. The brooch is circular, flat and has a single lug on the reverse. Opposite the lug is an integral catchplate. The surface of the brooch is highly decorative. In reserved metal is a circle in the centre with ten pellets surrounding it. Surrounding the pellets is a zig-zagged band with ten apex's. A pellet from the inner band is located in each angle. The interior of the central circle contains blue enamel; the field surrounding the pellets contains an orange-brown enamel, and the field outside the zig-zagged line contains green enamel.
