Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragment, 50mm long, 44mm wide and 10mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a brownish patina and weighs 19.54g. The object has been well made but is suffering from various forms of corrosion. It consists of a central headplate which has a large central panel, with a thin recessed panel at each side. The object is in poor condition with a brown patina and weighs 4.54grams The object consists of the lower part of a cruciform brooch which is missing a lot of its surface. It is rectangular in form and begins with a stylised animal head which is sub semi-circular in section and has bulging eyes. There is a rectangular area above it which may have a decorated border. The reverse shows the base of a long catchplate.

Early Medieval copper alloy brooch foot, 27mm long, 15mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 2.92 grams. The object is sub rectangular, but appears to have originally been triangular in form as it has damage to both sides. It has traces of a border of punched triangles and its upper edge is the lower part of a shaft with raised horizontal bands. The reverse contains the remains of a catchplate 12mm long and 2mm thick. The object is most probably an example of a small- long brooch, similar to eg.668, fig.235 in Hattatts ancient brooches.

Terminal from an early Anglo-Saxon florid cruciform brooch foot. The brooch is decorated with chip-carved Style I animals; the hip and eyes of an animal can be seen right next to each other. There is also stamped decoration along the sides of the brooch. The stamps and some other areas of the brooch show traces of gilding but this has been lost from most of the surface. Beyond the triangular panel of Style I, the extreme end of the foot is in the form of a short rectangular panel. Recorded from an illustration on an identification record from 1992.
