Fragment of an annular brooch. The brooch is circular in cross-section and has bead-and-reel decoration all the way round. Brooches such as this type have a mainly Anglian distribution and are common in Lincolnshire. This type of brooch belongs to Leeds' Type F, and were in use throughout the early Anglo-Saxon period, surviving the change in dress that occured towards the end of the 6th century, continuing into the 7th century AD. Treasure Case 2023 T213 A post-medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.1600-1700. The brooch is now in three pieces. The pin shaft is missing. It consists of a circular convex frame with rounded exterior surfaces set at an oblique angle. The reverse is concave. An incomplete Roman copper alloy umbonate brooch. The brooch has a slightly domed body with a small sub-triangular tab extending at the base. A catchplate is locate behind this tab. The domed body is decorated with a central recessed circle surrounded by a band of inward pointing triangular recessed cells. A similar outer band encloses this inner band. The cells would once have contained enamel; traces of blue survive in some cells. The upper part of the brooch is missing.

Treasure Case: 2022 T1056 A complete Medieval silver annular brooch with an intact pin dating to c.AD 1200-1300. The brooch is annular, plano-convex and D-shaped in cross-section. A very worn and incomplete copper-alloy Late Iron Age brooch of Stead 1.b2 type dating to 1st century BC (100BC-1BC). The chord is internal with three coils. The bow is plano-convex and is curved,  terminating with a broken point.
