An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy Initial T-shaped brooch of Hull T133, Bayley and Butcher, 2004, 159, fig. 127, no. T133, c.AD 50-150. The wings are cylindrical with an axis spindle retaining the pin. The bow ends in an old break, with three moulded oblique lines running down the bow. Most of the bow, the foot, and catchplate are missing. The surface has green patina.

An incomplete Medieval decorated annular brooch (AD 1300-1400). Treasure case no. 2012 T221. The brooch is convex at the front and flat on the reverse. Its front surface has a legend within a raised border and the reverse is decorated. On the front surface the legend has a quatrefoil initial mark and in Lombardic lettering reads: IACEPARMELCHIORBALTASA (the Magi, Jaspar, Melchior and Balthasar).The letter S is the form of an M and is turned sideways to conserve space. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamelled symmetrical plate brooch (c. AD 100-200). Bayley and Butcher 2005: 176-177, ref: T227. The brooch is lozengiform in plan, with a stepped profile of three tiers, the uppermost forming a recessed cell retaining traces of white enamel over white ?cement. There is no surface treatment. The rear face is concave at the centre with the vestigial remains of two pin lugs and a catch-plate. This brooch is in poor condition and the breaks are old. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type, dating AD 60-65. The fragment is of the head, lugs, and upper half of the bow. This break has happened before deposition. The pin and catchplate are missing. The bow has a flattened lenticular cross section, with a moulded spine which joins the lugs at the hinge. The arms are semi-cylindrical, with moulded ridges at the shoulders and an iron spindle holding the spring and pin in place.

A small complete oval-shaped, silver annular brooch of the thirteenth or fourteenth century. Length 23mm, width 19.5mm and 2.0mm thick. Weight 2.58g. The frame to one side of the pin is of twisted cable pattern. Within each twist is a line of closely related granulations.
