A bow and fantail brooch with a sharply-angled bow and a rolled-back pin housing. One wing is missing as is the pin and spring. The fantail has a central triangular panel, possibly originally enamelled. The panel has notched edges.

An oval Roman plate brooch. The pin is missing and the catchplate is broken. The outer frame alternates between enamelled strips of red (four longer strips) and blue (four shorter strips). The centre is hollow and probably contained a glass setting.

A Roman bow brooch of Polden Hill type. Only the upper part along with the wings survives. There are single mouldings either side of the head above which is a loop to retain the chord of the spring. On the inside face of the head is an oval hollow, of uncertain purpose, filled with possible solder.

A complete Roman bow brooch of T-shaped form. The brooch has an iron axial bar and a hinged pin and a well-preserved white metal surface coating. Each side wings has a pair of transverse grooves. On the bow is a prominent transverse ridge below which is a ring and dot with a vertical strip of notches below that. The foot is expanded. The catch plate has two pairs of transverse grooves at top and bottom.

A curving strip-form bow from a one piece brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date. The slightly tapering bow has a bifurcating head, presumably the remains of a pin and spring. A small part of the catchplate also survives. The bow is decorated with a wide and rounded central groove with bordering bands of opposed interlocking triangular punches.
