An incomplete cast copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) small long brooch dating to c.AD 450-550. Penn and Brugmann (2007) Sm2 or Sm3.
Only the headplate and part of the bow has survived. The headplate comprises a trefoil head with three projecting sub-rectangular lobes with semi-circular cut aways at each angle. The bow springs from the headplate; it has a D cross-section and is decorated on the convex side with oblique indentations where the bow meets the headplate, creating a trapezoidal block at the upper portion of the bow. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).
It has an oval flat disc decorated on one side. The decoration consists of a thick band of corroded dark blue enamel with five surviving sub-oval empty recesses, surrounding a circular recess and a sub-oval centre. Part of the plate is missing. The reverse has traces of the lug and catchplate. The pin is missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).
The brooch is almost complete, with part of the pin missing. It is a circular flat disc decorated on one side with a multi-angled polygon, however, the corrosion and dirt conceals the decoration. Traces of red enamel are visible. The design is surrounded by a border. The reverse has the sprung spring mechanism.

The brooch has tubular wings enclosing an axis bar, with a slot in the centre for the pin. Only remnants of the pin has survived inside the slot. The bow springs out from the wings, it is D-shaped in cross-section, tapering to a broken point. The brooch is very corroded and worn, no traces of decoration are visible. The pin and catchplate are missing.

The humped bow tapers to a narrow point and is simply decorated with a raised narrow, longitudinal band with a central groove, lightly incised, beginning on the head and running down the centre to the point. An incomplete Late Iron Age to early Roman (c.AD 1 to c. AD 100) cast copper alloy Nauheim Derivative brooch.
The brooch is produced from one piece of copper alloy. The spring is coiled with two coils visible. The terminal of the spring develops into the bow which is sub-rectangular in cross-section and curves into a D-shape. The lower portion of the bow is bent forming a solid triangular catchplate. One of the coils has an old break, this would have curved backwards to form the pin. The surface of the brooch has a mid grey-green patina.

The object is a circular plate brooch originally with eight flat decorative peripheral lugs or knops (each circa 4.8mm in height by 5.5mm wide). Only 2 complete lugs survive, opposite each other, and each has a small central sky-blue enamel inlay on the front. The pin is missing.

The brooch has cylindrical wings, tapering slightly to the outside edges. In the centre of the wings is a rectangular slit and a knop projecting from the top of the bow. A post-medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.1600-1700.
The brooch is now in three pieces. The pin shaft is missing. It consists of a circular convex frame with rounded exterior surfaces set at an oblique angle. The reverse is concave. There is a pin constriction flanked by collars with 4 incised vertical lines on one side and 3 on the other. The pin is represented by a silver C-shaped loop. On the inside of the frame, near the constriction, is a maker's mark 'M'.

Missing its catchplate and pin due to old breaks. The wings are cylindrical in form folded to encase the separately cast copper-alloy axis bar, with a central rectangular slot through which the now missing pin would have hinged. The wings have patches of dirt, and any decoration appears to have been worn away. The bow is D-shaped in section with flat back and rounded front face, tapering towards the broken pointed foot.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy umbonate brooch. The brooch has a slightly domed body with a small sub-triangular tab extending at the base. A catchplate is locate behind this tab. The domed body is decorated with a central recessed circle surrounded by a band of inward pointing triangular recessed cells. A similar outer band encloses this inner band. The cells would once have contained enamel; traces of blue survive in some cells. The upper part of the brooch is missing.
