An early Bronze Age flat axehead, probably consistent with metalworking stage II corresponding to Needham's (1996) Period 2 (c. 2350 - 2050 BC). The axe has a spatulate shape tapering towards the butt and an expanded blade with a crescentic cutting edge. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, trumpet type, dating to c. AD 75- 175. This brooch is heavily worn. It consists of the head, with a small trace of a head loop remaining and the bow. There is a small section of the catchplate remaining and the pin is missing. The corrosion of the metal has obscured or destroyed any fine details on the surface of the bow. Part of the loop remains on the rear of the head. The knob at the shoulder of the bow is badly worn. A copper alloy double looped buckle of post medieval date (c. AD 1550 - 1650) missing its pin. The object is in the form of a double looped oval frame with moulded decoration around the outer edges of the frame, these mouldings have bilobed knops above and below, and a pointed knop at each end of the narrow pin bar. The reverse of the object is flat. The whole frame is slightly curved outwards. The buckle retains traces of a black lacquer on both sides. Length 48.7 mm, width 36.7 mm, thickness 2.7 mm and weight 8.9 g.

A damaged, bell or bee hive shaped copper alloy thimble of medieval to post medieval period date (c. AD 1200 - 1500). There are handmade indentations over the whole outer surface of the thimble. Around the damaged top of the thimble the indentations form a spiral which extends part way down the body, where they meet a series of vertical lines rising from the base and covering the rest of its surface. There are some small nicks out of rim edge. Diameter 22.8 mm, height 23.1 mm, thickness 1.4 mm and weight 10.0 g.

The central motif is sprig of leaves or multi-petalled flower; ten elliptical leaves arranged asymmetrically. The legend reads Si ROBERT I N [+ I A ...N]. The right edge is distorted and difficult to read. The object has a dusty cream patina. Similar objects on this database include NMS-30C3C4.  Length 33.7 mm, width 23.9 mm, thickness 3.26 mm and weight 15.5 g.
