An early Bronze Age flat axehead, probably consistent with metalworking stage II corresponding to Needham's (1996) Period 2 (c. 2350 - 2050 BC). The axe has a spatulate shape tapering towards the butt and an expanded blade with a crescentic cutting edge. The rectangular butt is intact, but corroded. The axe is abraded around all edges, but retains a dark glossy patina on upper and lower faces. tapering towards the butt. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, trumpet type, dating to c. AD 75- 175. This brooch is heavily worn. It consists of the head, with a small trace of a head loop remaining and the bow. There is a small section of the catchplate remaining and the pin is missing. The corrosion of the metal has obscured or destroyed any fine details on the surface of the bow. Part of the loop remains on the rear of the head. The knob at the shoulder of the bow is badly worn. The head is decorated with a pattern set out in blue, red and yellow enamel. Width 16.2mm, height 49.8 mm

A cast copper alloy object, possibly the terminal of a handle of post medieval date (c. AD 1700 - 1800). A square sectioned shaft broadens into a cone or horn, decorated with incised lines, from which emerge two serpentine necks, with a flattened D-shaped section, each curving outwards then recurving to form an anchor-shaped hook or handle. The terminals are zoomorphic with dragonesque or aquiline heads. Feathers or scales are represented by incised lines, as are the eyes and nostrils. The reverse is flat and undecorated. A copper alloy rotary key of medieval date (c. AD 1250 - 1500). The bow is flat and lozengiform, with a circular tubular projection at right angles to the plane of the bow for suspension. Four circular perforations are present in the bow, positioned regularly, one in each corner. The internal diameter of the holes is around 5.29 mm. Medieval harness pendant; cast copper alloy harness pendant of quatrefoil shape with enamelled decoration and gilding. The pendant probably dates to the late 14th century.
