Medieval two piece cast copper alloy mirror case, incomplete with one side damged and the glass missing. This consists of two cast discs, each with a single lug on one side and a pair on other. On one disc the single lug, and on the other the pair of lugs, are pierced - these are drilled through to take a copper alloy rivet which acts as a hinge. On one of the discs the pierced double lug is broken off but present (part is attached to the other disc by the rivet), and the edge of this disc is further damaged; the second disc is cracked. A medieval silver gilt demi-gros of John II of Avesnes, the Count of Hainaut (AD 1280 - 1307), mint of Valenciennes. The coin has been re-used as a brooch or dress accessory with soldered attachments in the form of a hook and small loop on the obverse of the coin. A fragment of a cast copper alloy handle from a vessel, possibly of Roman date (c. AD 43 - 410). The fragment has a convex underside, the upper surface has a central concave trough flanked by incised lines. In profile it has a shallow arch, and in plan it tapers from 28.9 mm to 20.4 mm. Both ends terminate in old breaks. 9 mm before the wider end, spurs or lugs emerge, one is broken off leaving only a slight stub, the other protrudes for 11 mm before ending in a break. A copper alloy ring-headed pin of uncertain date. The pin's head is formed from a loop of the sub-circular sectioned wire which forms the shank. The gap between the end of the loop and the neck is closed with some grey material, possibly degraded solder. A fragment of a cast copper alloy object of uncertain function, possibly part of a lug handle from a vessel of medieval to post medieval date (c. AD 1450 - 1700). The object is a knop or sub-hemispherical piece of copper alloy with a rib or flange which appears to extend into a lenticular-sectioned handle or blade, but which terminates in an old break after ~ 4mm. The other side of the object is also an old break, possibly the attachment to the vessel. The object has mottled green-brown patina.  Width 29 mm, height 19 mm, thickness 18.6 mm and weight 32.3 g.

A complete copper alloy post medieval shoe or knee buckle (c. AD 1200 - 1500). The buckle is made up of a single D shaped loop, with a triangular pierced decorative outer edge. The decoration is fairly crude and consists of a series of pierced circular holes along a slightly scalloped edge, with a number of incised lines. The pin is extant and still attached to the pin bar. Length 24.4 mm, width 25.1 mm, thickness 3.7 mm and weight 4.28 g.

A complete post medieval cast copper alloy casket key dating to c. AD 1500 - 1700. The bow is kidney-shape with bevelled inside edges and two internal projections. At the base of the projections on the opposite side of the bow bar extends a circular sectioned stem with a single collar followed by a triple collar. AD 200 - 410). The plate has a raised edge and the flat space between the setting and the edge is tool marked with a band of small nicks/hatching. Decoration is a lion rampant depicted in red enamel, occupying the whole field. There are two small rivet holes, one on the top edge and the second in the point of the shield. The ring has been decorated with a series of engraved lines; diagonal slashes with smaller dashes producing a feathered effect and saltaires. Some traces of red enamel remain. A  copper alloy finger ring in the form of a coiled snake, probably of post medieval date (c. AD 1600 - 1800). The copper tapered band coils round one and a half times on itself. The narrowest, pointed (although damaged) end sits on top of the wider, possible body/head section of the snake. This end is rounded and the band is plain. A similar ring is described in record BERK-1CA32F. Diameter 16.7 mm, thickness 4.9 mm and weight 1.97 g.
