Flask with short narrow neck and single cordon at base of neck in a fine grey sandy fabric; burnished from shoulder upwards; complete except for rim. Almost certainly a north Kent/Thameside product, possibly from the Cliffe area. The form resembles Monaghan class 1B6, which is dated 150/180-230 AD.
