1: A complete cast copper-alloy casket key. This key has an oval shaped bow with two projections on the internal edge at the juncture of the stem. The stem is solid, square in cross-section and has transverse moulding before the bow, it also has a projecting tip. The bit is plain, and rectangular in shape it measures 11mm by 6mm in size. An incomplete Iron Age copper-alloy linch pin dating to circa 200-BC-AD 43. The surviving element consists of the terminal of the linch pin. The terminal is crescentic with straight edges. The main body is missing, with the terminal edge having an old and worn break. The front face of the terminal is recessed following the shape of the crescentic edges and holds red enamel. In the centre is a circular recess surrounded by a copper-alloy border. The recess would have contained blue enamel but none survives. Copper alloy bracelet fragment, broken both ends. Two decorative elements: a punched dot with double ring (diam c.5mm) and an incised triangle containing three punched dot and circles (diam 2.5mm) are separated by a 3mm wide raised band bisected by a single transverse groove. Width 5mm, surviving length 21mm. From a late Roman type with multiple motifs, not precisely paralled in Lankhills or Colchester (Crummy 1983).

An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch (Group A: Bayley and Butcher 2004, 160 ,fig.130) of Roman date, c.AD 75-150. Only the bow re mains. The bow has a sub-circular cross section and both terminals end at a worn rounded break.
