Copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman linch pin terminal, dating to 100 BC -AD 100. It is a cast disc which has a tapering oval cross-sectioned protrusion on its back. The front face of the disc is decorated with a raised edge, followed by a circular groove and a further raised circle. The centre of the circle is quartered in two opposite solid angles and two opposite sunken cells, which might have housed enamel inlaid. The object is moderate worn. Cf NLM-63A878, NMS-15F679.
