A complete but distorted solid gold penannular ring dating to the Middle Bronze Age, c. 1550-1150 BC. It is broadly oval in plan view and plano-convex in section, being formed of three 'D' sectioned bands which have been soldered together, though in places these are starting to come away from one another. The terminals are squared off, but now overlap due to damage. Gold finger ring; flat rectangular bezel and flat hoops with facetted scallops along both edges of front surface, internal diameter 16.5mm; the bezel carries a crudely engraved depiction of the Virgin and Child and has suffered some damage; the hoop is inscribed on its front surface with letters separated at intervals by sprigs of foliage, both of which contain traces of white enamel; the inscription is worn and possibly reads N I? A? L? A/D? R T? U; an example of a 15th-century iconographic ring.

An incomplete gold finger ring (Henig II/ Guiraud type 2A) of Roman date (c. 43-200).  Description: The ring is broken at the narrowest part of the hoop, opposite the bezel, and is misshapen. A medieval gold finger-ring, set with a green stone. The ring is distorted and measures 23mm across its greatest diameter. The hoop widens towards the bezel into which the stone is set and held with four claws. The stone has not been identified and may be glass paste. The shoulders are engraved with the stems of a flower against a cross-hatched ground possibly keyed to take enamel. A break at the shoulder reveals a cavity which suggests, along with the weight of the ring, that it is hollow.
