Possible finger ring or even a mount. It is ovoid in shape with a sub-circular central face, from which further material extends out to form the overall. These extensions both have a hole drilled in them, and are angled downwards below the plane of the central face, forming a semicircular section. It is symmetrical in both axes. The semicircular shape fits the finger (a modern male finger) but the two holes either side suggest that this was mounted to something else with a circular shape. A copper alloy trumpet brooch of Hull Type 157C dating to the Roman period. The brooch is nearly identical to an example in Hattatt (1989, p. 327, Fig. 186, no. 1528). The head end of the bow expands outward in a typical 'trumpet-like' form with a broadly D-shaped cross-section. The object tapers in thickness from the head curving down towards the leg of the brooch. The foot is missing. At the rear of the head is the top of a pierced lug through which the spring would have passed holding it in place. The spring, pin and catchplate are missing. A cast copper-alloy ring of uncertain date, possibly of Iron Age to Roman c. 300 BC - AD 200.  It is circular, with a sub-circular cross section as one outer face is slightly flattened. A lead alloy spindle whorl or weight. It is flat on both faces, with rounded edges, D shaped in section. There is no apparent decoration. The central perforation is approximately 10mm in diameter. A number of similar examples have been recorded by the Berkshire FLO, one of which is BERK-4D6A2C. These are difficult to date without other evidence, and are considered by some to be Roman when in this form, this artefact is from an area of known Roman activity Dimensions: It is 28mm in diameter and 7mm thick, the central hole is 10mm diameter and it weighs 29.28g

A copper alloy Roman Prestatyn type brooch. The bow is wider at the top, narrowing to a rounded tip. It is divided into two vertical cells with a cast in line, these may have been enamelled. Behind the lower half of the bow there are two extentions wider than the brooch but less deep. The bow is slightly hollow.
