A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy stud or mount (c. 1500-c. 1800). This stud is circular in plan, domed at the front and concave at the rear. The rear face has a tapering integral spike which is square in cross-section and adjacent to the head it measures 3.2 x 3.2mm. The front is reddish brown and green with patches of a slightly darker green patina. The rear face is dull green. Diameter: 24.0mm; thickness: 7.7mm. Weight: 5.51g. Compare with: SF-9A67D6 which is dated c. 1550 to c. 1750. A similar mount from Norwich has been dated AD 1750 (Margeson 1993: 83, fig. 48, ref: 529)…

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative double lug brooch. Only the head of the brooch survives. Each wing is semi-cylindrical with a concave reverse where the coiled pin spring is situated, one half of which is missing. In the centre of th reverse there is a pierced double lug, designed to secure the axis bar and chord. Only a very small fragment of the upper bow survives. An incomplete copper alloy late Iron Age to Roman rearhook Aesica brooch. The head is semi-cylindrical in shape with a concave reverse where the pin spring would have sat. The remains of a rear-facing hook project from the centre of the upper edge of the head.
