An incomplete gold strip brooch dating to the Middle Anglo-Saxon period. The brooch comprises a flat, elongated lozengiform plate, slightly asymmetrical in shape, tapering towards wire-like terminals which have been hammered into a square section. One terminal forms a closed loop and the other an open hook, representing the remains of a pin mechanism. The front of the plate is decorated with a border of triangular notches, irregularly spaced and sized. Some heavy scratches are present. The back of the brooch is undecorated. 15 fragments of at least one and perhaps two plated disc brooches, of early Early-Medieval dating (late 6th or early 7th century AD). The largest two fragments are semi-circular in shape.The front of each has filigree wire decoration and attached garnet cabochons. Medieval gold and enamel brooch, 23mm long, 22mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 5.31g. The frame is heart shaped (a tapering pointed base with two curved upper edges) with a flat rectangular cross-section. It has a raised border on its upper side which has been filled with white enamel interspersed by raised star-like motifs in gold. Only about half of the enamel remains. A gold and gem medieval brooch of 12th century date. The brooch is annular, circular in plan with eight raised collets set equally spaced around the frame. Each collet contains a gem of alternating garnets and sapphires. Between each gem is a raised boss with punched decoration and surmounted by an open fruit pod. Both the internal and external edge of the frame is beaded. The pod with seeds within and the remains of the flower beyond it, most probably represents the fruit of the broom. A gold annular brooch. The object is circular in shape, triangular in section and terminates in two clasped hands. There are two quatrefoils or flower motifs, cast in relief onto the outer surface which is formed of two facets from the triangular section of the object. One motif is opposite the clasped hands, whilst the other is opposite a constriction in the frame, onto which the pin is attached. An incomplete gold dog brooch of uncertain date, possibly early Post-Medieval. This three dimensional brooch seems to have been hollow or at least the body was hollow. The dog is positioned left with the head turned forwards. One ear is missing however the ear nearest the tail survives in good condition. All four legs are missing and there is a break across the chest area that is now filled with mud. The curled tail survives. Treasure reference 2017 T708: a medieval gold annular brooch. The frame is circular in plan and in section, and has a restriction for the pin. The pin is intact, and has a small decorative collar next to the terminal loop. The pin tapers to the terminal. The brooch is dated to the Medieval period, 13th to 14th centuries. Similar brooches have been taken through the Treasure Act (1996), for example 2010 T330 from the Isle of Wight, 2008 T124 from North Yorkshire, and 2015 T821 from Princethorpe, Warwickshire.

Gold annular brooch. Cast D-section band with a constriction for a cast tapered pin which is looped around the band. The convex display face bears a finely defined chevron motif, with V-shaped figures with internally indented edges confining strands of closely juxtaposed pellets, possibly in overlapping doubled rows.
