A complete Medieval gold annular brooch (1200-1400). Treasure case no. 2010 T330. The frame is circular in plan, oval (almost circular) in cross-section and has a constriction for the pin. The loop of the pin fully encloses the constriction. Between the loop and the shaft there is a collar decorated on its upper and lower surfaces with several randomly situated 'C'-shaped stamp marks. The shaft tapers from the collar towards the expanded tip which is undercut to rest neatly on the frame. This brooch is particularly small and is slightly worn. A small medieval gold annular brooch of Medieval, thirteenth century date (AD 1200 - AD 1300). Treasure case no. 2006 T259. Diameter of frame 20mm, length of pin, 19mm. Weight 1.87g. The frame, now distorted, is flat at the front and slightly convex at the rear and has a constriction for the pin. The pin is oval in cross-section and has a small collar near the loop. On the front of the pin, close to the tip, is a small transverse groove and on the underside, the pin-tip is undercut. A piece of twisted gold wire forms the circular frame of a Medieval miniature annular brooch (1200-1500). A transverse join is barely visible. The pin is missing. Treasure case no. 2013 T349. The size of this brooch might indicate that it was made for a child. 11.46mm (outer diameter); 9.67mm (inner diameter); 1.08mm (width); 1.16mm (thickness). Weight: 0.39g.

A complete Medieval gold annular brooch (1400-1500). Treasure case no. 2013 T72. This brooch is complete. The frame is circular in plan with a width of 5.34mm and is constricted for the pin.
