Treasure item: 2011 T606; item subsequently disclaimed and returned to finder. Specialist report: A medieval gold brooch of quatrefoil shape ornamented with four settings for stones. Three of the stones survive and appear green in colour (probably glass). Each collett is supported by a collar of stamped decoration. The frame of the brooch has been bent slightly out of shape. The brooch is gold, and dates from the fourteenth century. Dimensions: length 17 mm, width 11.95 mm; length of pin 14mm; weight: 0.8 grams.

TREASURE CASE 2005 T126 A medieval gold annular brooch, of lozenge-shaped section. The brooch has engraved zigzag decoration on the two outer surfaces, and a constriction and a notch for the pin, which is now missing. Diameter: 13.5 mm. The ring dates to the 13th century. The find therefore qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.

A gold medieval ring brooch of thirteenth-century date. The brooch is annular-shaped with two raised collets, both of which are set with pink gemstones identified by raman spectroscopy as almandine garnets. The pin has a collar and rests against a small foliate quatrefoil at the opposite end. The face of the brooch is bifaceted and inscribed with Lombardic characters: + IESVI ICIE NILV DAMI.
