Cast copper alloy ansate brooch of the middle to late Early Medieval period, of Weetch's type II.Aiii. The bow of the object is D-shaped in section and the sub-circular, disc-shaped terminals are rectangular in section. The terminals have engraved cells showing an encircled cruciform shape. These were probably intended to hold enamel or paste decoration. The reverse of the object is undecorated. Cast copper alloy flat disc brooch. The brooch has a raised perimeter enclosing a raised triskele motif with a pellet in the centre. The surrounding recessed fields would once have been enamelled however only a small patch of red enamel now remains within the triskele itself. There is a pin lug and worn catchplate on the reverse. The pin is missing. Flat disc brooches date to the late 1st/2nd century and are a British product.

Anglo-Saxon small-long brooch. The brooch is cast copper alloy and has a square headplate decorated with a ring and dot motif in the centre. The motif has two rings to it. Surrounding the headplate are three integral semi-circular wings. Each wing is decorated with two transversly incised lines forming a narrow collar. The bow is arched and faceted, and broken shortly after below. The reverse of the headplate has a single integral pierced lug for the pin. The pin is missing.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment, cast copper alloy. The brooch has a square headplate split into three smaller rectangular zones. The central rectangular zone is the largest and sits slightly proud of the flaking zones, being decorated with a perimeter of punched crescents. Two integral side knops remain. Each knop has a moulded collar divided into three bands, and a flat circular knopped terminal. The rest of the brooch is missing at the top of the bow. There is an incomplete double pin lug on the reverse of the headplate.

A lead alloy probable brooch fragment which is probably from the mid Early Medieval period. The fragment is a sub rectangular flat plate with one end rounded, and the other end broken with the majority of the brooch missing. The fragment is divided into two panels by a transverse raised bar. There seems to be a plain border round each panel, and interlace patterns within. Cast copper alloy Roman dolphin brooch. The brooch has cylindrical wings in cross-section containing an axis bar for a hinged pin. The copper alloy pin is missing, although the loop around the axis bar is intact. The bow is oval in cross-setion and tapers to a pointed foot. There is a pierced catchplate on the reverse.

Enamelled copper alloy duck brooch. The brooch is very damaged and now in a distorted shape. The head and neck of the bird is missing, however the main body remains. The body is convex and decorated with channels of enamel picking out the wings and feathers of the bird. A small fragment of blue enamel remains in one of the channels. There is a double lug to accomadate a hinged pin on the reverse. The pin and catchplate are missing.

Incomplete enamelled copper alloy brooch. The brooch is lozenge shaped however part of the perimeter angles are damaged. The face of the brooch bears an elaborate enamelled decoration. In the centre is a large circle containing a peacock going left, looking back over its shoulder. Both wings are visible and the feather details are depicted by curved lines. One wing is much larger than the other; the larger wing is shown on the back of the bird and the smaller one is shown directly above it. The birds head is slender and tapers along the beak. Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 37mm long, 23mm wide and 12mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 6.3grams. The brooch is very plain and consists of solid circular sectioned wings which hold the remains of a hinged pin. The bow is circular in section and contains just the traces of a catchplate.
