A copper alloy disc of a later Early Medieval ansate brooch. The object is a disc from one end of an ansate brooch with one decorated face. The decoration consists of cells which would originally have been infilled with enamel/glass/coloured paste. Corrosion within the cells suggests some colour differentiation. There is no obvious organisation of the cells other than that they follow a circular pattern with a cross in the centre. The underside is undecorated and has a corroded lug. Early Medieval mount; Anglo-Saxon, cast copper alloy mount in the shape of a bird, possibly a cockerel. Flat mount with incised decoration on one face showing a bird, facing left, with hooked beak, small crest on the head, pointed wing extending up and backwards and thick curved tail. The feet are openwork but the area inside the beak has not been pierced. There is an incised oval for the eye and an indication of some patterning on the wing, although this is indistinct. Cast copper alloy ansate brooch of the middle to late Early Medieval period, of Weetch's type II.Aiii. The bow of the object is D-shaped in section and the sub-circular, disc-shaped terminals are rectangular in section. The terminals have engraved cells showing an encircled cruciform shape. Anglo-Saxon small-long brooch. The brooch is cast copper alloy and has a square headplate decorated with a ring and dot motif in the centre. The motif has two rings to it. Surrounding the headplate are three integral semi-circular wings. Each wing is decorated with two transversly incised lines forming a narrow collar. The bow is arched and faceted, and broken shortly after below. The reverse of the headplate has a single integral pierced lug for the pin. The pin is missing.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment, cast copper alloy. The brooch has a square headplate split into three smaller rectangular zones. The central rectangular zone is the largest and sits slightly proud of the flaking zones, being decorated with a perimeter of punched crescents. Two integral side knops remain. Each knop has a moulded collar divided into three bands, and a flat circular knopped terminal. The rest of the brooch is missing at the top of the bow. There is an incomplete double pin lug on the reverse of the headplate.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, cast copper alloy. The lowest part of the bow is visible, which is faceted and has three recessed collars below. The terminal is in the form of an animal's head. There are two large moulded eyes to either side, a long broad forehead and two circular nostrils forming the snout. The animal head is D-shaped in cross-section. The remains of a catchplate is situated on the reverse of the collared area.

The plate is decorated with a concave-sided lozenge; from each of its four corners there extends interlace ending in double-contoured knots. In the centre is a sunken circular field. Around the edge of plate is a plain raised border. On the underside, there is a fragment of the perforated pin-lug. The catchplate is missing. The brooch has a diameter of 29mm and possesses a brown patina. This brooch is of a type commonly found in East Anglia.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment, lower bow and part of the flat panel from a early Anglo-Saxon brooch. There is a longitudinal decorative band running down the centre of the bow and below the bow transverse grooves delimit the start of the flat panel. Surviving length is 17.94mm and width is 17.38mm. All edges worn and damaged due to old breaks. Both faces are black probably due to exposure to fire, perhaps indicating that this brooch was originally from a cremation cemetary.

A copper-alloy disc brooch of 'hub-cap' type, most likely to be AD 900-1100, late Anglo-Saxon in date. Very similar to examples from Wyverstone, see SF-E66913 and Mellis, see SF-7F2271. It is circular in shape and measures 20.96mm in diameter. The front face has a central circular setting containing a worn dark green glass gem. Surrounding this central setting there are seven circular indentations. The back face is flat and has a pin loop, now incomplete opposite a catchplate. No trace of the pin survives. It is fairly worn and has some patches of powdery green corrosion.

A lead alloy probable brooch fragment which is probably from the mid Early Medieval period. The fragment is a sub rectangular flat plate with one end rounded, and the other end broken with the majority of the brooch missing. The fragment is divided into two panels by a transverse raised bar. There seems to be a plain border round each panel, and interlace patterns within.
