Roman coin; Fragment of struck silver denarius of either Antoninus Pius (138-161), Caracalla (198-217) or Elagabalus (218-222). (All of the above emperors used the name ‘Antoninus’ on their coinage). The reverse has a seated figure, facing left, holding a spear and may possibly be Salus feeding a snake arising from an altar.
