A copper alloy Roman nummus of Valens, probably dating to the period AD 364-375 (Reece period 19). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting Emperor advancing right with standard and dragging captive. The mintmark is unclear, but might be TRP crescent for Trier. LRBC, p. 47, cf. no. 85. This coin will be checked against other coins of Trier.

this reverse tpe does not appear to be listed in RIC for the mint of Trier.
