Romano-British copper alloy vessel handle, cast in the form of a dolphin. The S-shaped body of the dolphin has engraved pointed oval eyes, fins, scales and lines on the tail which is arched-over onto its back. At the flattened base of the head and tail there are projecting integral rivets. 42 x 24mm. Cf. handles in S. Tassinari (1975) La Vaisselle de Bronze, Romaine et Provinciale, au Musée des Antiquités Nationales (Paris), Plate 24, nos.108-9.

Body sherd of Roman greyware pottery decorated, above or below a plain band, with two or more horizontal rows of 10mm-diameter annular impressions within each of which the surface has been irregularly raised to a peak in a manner which might be described as rustication. This suggests that the implement used to form the impressions was a flat surface with a raised circular projection rather than an open ring, and that the clay momentarily adhered to this surface as the tool was withdrawn. Incomplete copper alloy and iron Roman anthropomorphic furniture fitting in the form of a mount or stud, dating to the period c. AD 43 - 409. The front is moulded in three dimensions into the form of a human head with lentoid eyes and a swept back hairstyle arranged into a series of ridges alternating with sets of four or five grooves. The facial features are heavily worn and partially obscured by iron corrosion. The mount expands slightly behind the head and tapers to an old break. Within are the corroded remains of the iron shank.

Romano-British Military harness pendant from military harness, cast, pointed leaf-shape with small notch in both sides and with curved and forward-projecting terminal ending in a discoidal knop, thickened at apex where integral suspension-loop is missing. Convex front and concave, rather roughly finished reverse. 26 x 34mm. Cf. various pendants with different suspension fittings in Oldenstein (1976), Nr.186-215. Fragmentary pendants with very similar terminals have been recorded from East Winch (HER 30030), Saham Toney (HER 4697) and Saxlingham Nethergate (HER 10099). 2nd–3rd century.

Fragment of a Roman copper-alloy spoon of Crummy Type 3, consisting of a short length of the stem and a tiny fragment of the bowl, connected at an offset junction. The stem is rectangular, nearly square, in cross-section. The shaft survives to a length of forty millimetres and terminates in a worn break. It is unbent, circular in cross-section, and tapers uniformly from the base of the head to the break. A dispersed hoard of 19 Roman denarii (or fragments thereof), scattered over an area by agricultural activity. The coins are mainly of the Roman Republic but several are of slightly later date, the latest being Gaius and Lucius Caesars issues of Augustus and a PONTIF MAXIM type of Tiberius. The hoard is of a similar date to nearby hoards from Norfolk, such as one from South Norfolk (NMS-00AFB2 with addenda NMS-F70106, NMS-B84D92 and NMS-692AA4). Roman copper alloy military harness pendant dating to the period c. AD 120 - 300. At the apex is an oval suspension loop set perpendicular to the body. Below the suspension loop the pendant expands into a lobed cordate plate which tapers along its length. It exhbits two side knobs and a knobbed terminal. Pendants of this form are relatively common, the form descirbed as "...an ivy-leaf tipped with a phallus" (James 2004, 98-9, cat. nos. 357-8), or, "heart-shaped/phallic" (Nicolay 2007, 298, pl. 91, type B3).

Large Romano British furniture mount, slightly convex-sided cone with collared terminal knop, projecting from a rectangular base (30 x 26mm, 4mm thick). There is a concentric line of punched dots at the junction between cone and base and twin bordering lines containing short transverse lines around the outer edge of the face of the base. Rectangular-sectioned (6 x 5mm) iron shank inserted into, and broken-off flush with, flat reverse. Diameter 23mm. Length 30mm. Weighs 54.98g. Cf. related and more usual types of furniture mount in South Shields 1984, nos.3.889-910.

Possible Roman furniture knob. It consists of a globular head 12mm in diameter, with the corroded remains of an iron shaft protruding from one side which brings the overall length up to 14mm. It weighs 7.06g. The patina is dark grey-green and quite shiny. It can be compared with SF-365DD1, LIN-146752, SUR-E8FC02, SUR-B519D6 and SUR-2309BF.

Fragment of flagon handle, separately cast from probable lathe-turned flagon, sub-triangular D-sectioned upper end curved to fit against the vessel rim and tapering to break were most of handle is missing, moulded rib on upper surface broken where a projection for the thumb-rest is missing. >35 x >25mm.
