A complete copper alloy toggle of Iron Age to Roman date. The toggle is of the dumbbell type comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Narrow collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The toggle is 20.7mm long, 10.3mm in diameter at the terminals, 6.1mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 86.8. Copper alloy French jetton. The jetton matches one described in Barnard's 1981 'The Casting Counter and the Counting Board', page 121, number 71. The obverse shows a large crown in the centre with AVE written on its side. The obverse inscription reads: AVE MARIA GRASIA PLENA with double pellets between each word. The reverse is highly worn, but shows a cross formed of fleur-de-lisee with a mullet in the centre and encircled by mullets.

Copper alloy harness pendant. The plate of the pendant is a sheet of copper alloy, undecorated, with one area bent at a right angle to the back of the sheet. The body probably had a rounded trapezoid plan when whole. The tag for suspension is perpendicular to the body of the pendant. The perforation is full of iron, probably the remains of the chain.

The zoomorphic terminal is worn, but apparent in the eyes, these being rounded areas in relief, with the surrounding area carved away at a soft angle away from the raised area. A complete cast copper alloy finger ring of post-medieval date. The hoop of the finger ring is circular in plan with a narrow D-shaped section. The ring appears undecorated and the join at the ends of the strip can be clearly seen. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The finger ring is 19.6mm in diameter, 2.8mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 0.8g.

Incomplete cast copper alloy buckle loop, probably of Early Medieval date. The plate and tongue are missing. There are signs of stress from bending on the reverse of the object. The object is D-shaped in section. The face has been chip-carved with angled notches on the outer edges. The inner edge of the loop has six evenly-spaced, slightly larger notches, three on each side of the platform-notch for the pin. Just before both the breaks on the loop are cuts, removing the curve of the object's face and creating a rectangular section. This was possibly intended to accommodate the plate.

Copper alloy sheet mount with four off-set perforations for rivets. The mount could possibly have been a side plate for a comb, part of a knife handle, or other furniture mount. The object is decorated with incised lines; there are two rows of squares with punched (but not perforated) centres. To either side of these rows are parallel lines; outside of the parallel lines are zig-zag marks, made with a small-bladed tool that has been struck, pivoted, and struck again, forming a distinctive mark that is heavier where the corner of the tool met the sheet.

An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The tag has a circular main plate moulded on the front surface. The design features a central raised pellet, surrounded by six other pellets, there are pellets also around the edge. The main plate has a raised border. The reverse of the main plate is hollow. Extending upwards from the main plate is the trapezoidal loop. Below the main plate the hook extends, it is bent and has lost the tip. The metal is a mid greyish-green colour and is slightly worn. Cast copper alloy mount. The object is in the shape of an acorn, with an upper tag at an angle to the ovoid body of the mount. The upper half of this ovoid part has a textured surface, representing the upper shell of the acorn. This is separated from the lower half of the body by two horizontal, parallel incised lines. The lower half of the body is then smooth and otherwise undecorated. There are two integral rivets on the reverse, one at each point of the oval. This object was probably for mounting onto a strap, either a personal belt or a harness strap.

A cast copper alloy fragment of an openwork buckle. The buckle has a circular tab at one corner; coming down from this is an openwork triangle with three broken tabs protruding from the side. Below the triangle is a diamond; on the diamond, triangle and circular tab is a circle-dot motif, incised on the surface of the panel. Coming down from the diamond are three struts, interrupted by a bar. On the central strut, where it intersects with the bar, is cross-hatching. Copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (d. 1635). The obverse of the jetton shows three crowns with three lis between, and a rose in the centre. The obverse inscription is: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse shows an orb in a three-arched tressure with angles at each joint. The reverse inscription is GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, meaning 'God's kingdom (realm) remains eternal'. This matches Mitchner 1540. The jetton has been pierced for reuse.

Cast copper alloy seal matrix. The handle of the object has a hexagonal section. The loop for suspension is trefoil-shaped with a collar located at the base (where the loop meets the handle). The collar has a 1.5mm wide central band with smaller bands to either side. The die of the seal matrix is damaged, but the central design is clear. This shows a semi-circle with an arrow falling through the centre (therefore an bow and arrow). The feathers of the arrow show in the middle of the semi-circle. The inscription reads: S' WILL'Z H (or M)OT and possibly E or B.

The bottom spike appears to have been intended to remain stationary, as there is a thin bar attaching the loop to the vertical bar. The upper spike was probably intended to be moveable.

Cast copper alloy drum-shaped object. The object is similar in design to an item found at Winterton Roman Villa, identified as a 'reel', however, this object has a much larger central perforation than the Winterton example. There is no decoration. The object has a distinctive cylindrical drum shape with a narrow centre and flared terminals. The perforation runs through the centre of the object from top to bottom; it is irregularly formed at either mouth. The hole is filled with some kind of concretion or mineralisation. Another suggested use is as a spool, for example for thread.

Fragment of a cast copper alloy rowel spur. The object comprises the side and neck; there are traces of gilding. The side extends in a shallow curve; this is decorated with an incised foliate motif. The neck extends away from the side, curving upwards; there is a collar below an extension to the neck, this extension being the area of attachment for the rowel.

Cast lead pilgrim ampulla. There is some decoration in relief on the obverse, but this is too worn to be discerned. The object is largely complete, with angular handles between the base and the neck of the ampulla. The left handle is miscast and therefore not perforated. There are no signs of crimping at the top of the neck; it is possible that this ampulla was never used.

Cast copper alloy hooked fastener dating from the early Post-Medieval period. The fastener comprises a rectangular body with a sub-rectangular attachment loop at the end opposite the hook. The hook is almost equal in length to the body of the fastener, and curves up behind toward the reverse to end in a possible break. The face of the fastener has seven circular holes for decoration; three along the perforation and two pairs below. The lower pair has been deeply drilled, leaving two small perforations. There is some whitish corrosion in the other holes.

One terminal has an ovoid knop attached to the very end; this has been broken off at the other terminal.
