Medieval gold annular brooch. Flat-sectioned frame with two opposed oval collets which taper towards the top, one containing a purple cabochon stone, probably amethyst or garnet, the other a blue cabochon, perhaps a sapphire. The convex display face bears a finely defined chevron motif, with V-shaped figures with internally indented edges confining strands of closely juxtaposed pellets, possibly in overlapping doubled rows. A miniature medieval brooch, formed of a wire ring with a recess for the pin articulation. The pin is intact, though slightly bent, and tapers towards its pointed end. The attachment loop is ribbed with four grooves and it has a collar decorated with three rows of circular punches. The brooch is gold, and dates from the thirteenth or early fourteenth century. A very finely worked gold brooch of hollow construction, the brooch takes the form of a six-petalled flower. The obverse is engraved with a black letter inscription which reads 'EN BONE TEMPS' ('in good time'). A gold brooch with a plain thin frame formed into the shape of an asymmetric heart. The brooch is delicate, but complete. The frame is 1.5mm thick and eliptical in cross-section.
