A Roman bow brooch of bow-and-fantail type. The spring has been held in place using a hole drilled in the spring housing which emerges on the head. A short length of the spring survives. The side wings are decorated with lateral bands of notching. On either side of the head is decoration which comprises closely-spaced arcing grooves. A raised strip of notched or cabled decoration runs from the spine to the the base of the fantail. Much of the catchplate is missing.

An ansate, or equal-ended, brooch of middle to late Saxon date and complete save for the missing iron pin. The brooch has an arched bow and flat rounded terminals, both of which bear a cross within a circle. The designs are both crudely engraved. This brooch belongs to Weetch's type II.Aiii, disc-shaped terminals with engraved geometric ornament. The type is dated from the 8th to the 10th centuries (Weetch 2013, 144).

A curving strip-form bow from a one piece brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date. The slightly tapering bow has a bifurcating head, presumably the remains of a pin and spring. A small part of the catchplate also survives. The bow is decorated with a wide and rounded central groove with bordering bands of opposed interlocking triangular punches.

An incomplete very worn Roman lozengiform plate brooch. The brooch has a hollow back and the pin appears from corrosion to have been of iron. The brooch had corner projections originally but these are now missing. There is a central lozenge-shaped frame which contains enamel inlay of white and possibly blue. The edges of the brooch are notched.
