A fragment comprising approximately half of a medieval silver annular brooch, now distorted. The frame of the brooch is a flat strip which narrows to a point where the missing pin was fitted. Around the frame was once a series of probably four separately-applied rounded knops; only two now survive. The knops are each decorated with punched circles, now very worn. The upper part of the bow of a Roman T-shaped bow brooch, together with most of the pin. The bow is of strip form and includes an integral hatched lozenge and perhaps the edge of a circular decoration at the break. On the lozenge is an area of white metal surface coating.

An ansate, or equal-ended, brooch of middle to late Saxon date and complete save for the missing iron pin. The brooch has an arched bow and flat rounded terminals, both of which bear a cross within a circle. The designs are both crudely engraved. This brooch belongs to Weetch's type II.Aiii, disc-shaped terminals with engraved geometric ornament. The type is dated from the 8th to the 10th centuries (Weetch 2013, 144).

A Roman plate brooch of chatelaine type, now fragmentary and worn. The brooch retains supports for a bar on which items of personal grooming were suspended. The brooch was originally decorated with blue enamel in triangular cells arranged around a central dome which has a pierced centre. On either side is a projecting rounded lobe with blue enamel insets.

A cast copper alloy Kraftig Profilierte brooch of early Roman date. The brooch is complete and in good condition. It comprises a trumpet-like keeled upper part and a wide knop on the bow below this. The lower part of the bow is offset from the upper and is also keeled. The catchplate is plain and the rounded foot knop is out-turned.

A cast copper alloy strip form hinged bow brooch of Roman date. The brooch is formed from a narrow parallel-sided strip bow with bevelled edges and which tapers to a point. There is a band of three punched annulets across the lower part of the head and an inscribed V and two punched annulets at the lower tip. The brooch belongs to Genceva's Type 15 (eg Plate 12, nos.1-4. A cast copper alloy one piece Nauheim Derivative brooch of Late Iron Age or early Roman date. The brooch has a prominent rectangular expansion on its bow and a small out-turned foot knob. The pin is incomplete. The expansion on the bow can be closely paralled in Genceva 2004, especially Plate 2, fig.9. Genceva describes brooches of this form as 'Fibules arquees de section rectangulaire' and states that they date from the 1st century BC to the beginning of the 2nd century AD. They are found in Pannonia and Norica.
