The bow from a one-piece brooch of Late Iron Age date. The bow is of flat strip form and tapers inwards towards the missing catchplate. On either side of the bow is a very wide groove with a zigzag between. At the upper end of the bow is a series of transverse grooves. Both spring and pin are missing. The brooch is in good condition.

A one piece brooch of early Colchester form. The side wings are plain. The spring has been displaced and the pin is missing. The upper part of the bow thickens into a flaring knop below which the bow is much narrower and in section becomes a flattened diamond shape. The catchplate is plain.

An incomplete Iron Age cast copper alloy La Tene brooch, probably type 1B dating to the period 400 to 275 BC. The head of the brooch originally consisted of four coils to the spring with two loops located on either side of the bow. Only two survive. The bow is curved in section and leaf-shaped in plan. The upper surface of the bow is decorated with two ribs and grooves which form a lentoidal shape. The crests of the surface decoration have a central valley creating twin bands to each. The bow is rounded and is flat inside the curve. There is a series of diagonal facets on the inside of the bow. The spring and pin are both missing.

A copper alloy object, possibly a brooch, but now exhibitng signs of active bronze disease. The object curves and has a wider and a narrower end. None of the original surface survives. Little also can be made of the pits at the wider end and the iron corrosion at the narrower end. A vague Iron Age or Roman date is suggested.

A curving strip-form bow from a one piece brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date. The slightly tapering bow has a bifurcating head, presumably the remains of a pin and spring. A small part of the catchplate also survives. The bow is decorated with a wide and rounded central groove with bordering bands of opposed interlocking triangular punches.
