An incomplete copper-alloy cruciform brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 475 – 550. Possibly Martin Type 2. All that remains of the brooch is a length of lower bow and a spatulate terminal foot. The fragment is sub-rectangular with D-shaped sectioned and moulded decoration on the upper surface in the form of raised ridges and incised grooves. The spatulate terminal is undecorated. An incomplete copper-alloy cruciform brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 450 - 600. All that remains is the zoomorphic terminal from the lower edge of the bow. It is sub-rectangular in shape and D-shaped in section. It is decorated with a pair of transverse ribs at the collar, beyond which it is broken, a thick Y-shaped moulding tapering from the collar to the centre point of the lower edge and a globular pellets to either side. Length: 22.1mm, width: 12.5mm, thickness:4.4mm, weight: 4.9g.

A copper-alloy fragment of a possible ansate brooch, also known as an equal-armed brooch, dating to the Early-Medieval period (c. AD 700-900). Only one of the circular terminals remains, which is flat and is decorated on one side with a ring and dot motif. On the reverse there is a loop present, which may have held the pin. A side knop of a copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to the Early-Medieval period (c. AD 500-550). Martin group 3. The knop has a domed top section with a narrowed waist and a D-sectioned base. There is a break on the base where there would be a projection attaching the knop to the head of the brooch. The reverse of the brooch is flat with some damage on the domed top. The metal had a mid-green patina. The knop is 13.3 mm long, 10.2mm wide at the dome and 6.8mm wide at the narrowed waist. The knop is 5.7mm thick and weighs 3.3g. A fragment of a copper-alloy brooch dating to the Early Medieval period (c. AD 475-575). The object is formed of a curved sheet of metal, rectangular and flat in section. On one surface the brooch is decorated with individual stamped beading along both edges. The reverse surface is undecorated. The brooch is 22.3mm long, 0.8mm thick and weighs 0.9g. A similar example can be found at BERK-B655CA and NLM-F3269B. A more complete example can be found in West (1998, p142 fig26.2).

Only the flat panel from the lower bow remains which is sub-rectangular, almost trapezoidal. A fragment of a copper small long bow brooch dating to the Early Medieval period (c. AD 400-550). Only the foot and catchplate survive. The foot is rectangular in plan and section, widening to a spatula panel at one end. The opposite end of the foot is broken. The front of the panel has transverse moulded decoration, resulting in a series of raised ridges and corresponding grooves. The worn remains of a catchplate survive on the reverse. The brooch has a mid-green patina. The brooch is 32.2mm long, 12.2mm wide, 1.6mm thick and weighs 4.1g.

Two fragments of a flat annular brooch dating to the Early-Medieval period (c. AD 480-570). The brooch consists of two flat, rectangular in section curved fragments. On one face the brooch is decorated with a punched ring and dot motif. The remains of gilding is present in small areas on the brooch. On the reverse the brooch is plain. Both fragments have broken terminals at each end. The fragments are 18.8mm and 16.4mm long respectively, 4.3mm and 4.1mm wide, 2mm thick and combined weigh a total of 2.1g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy probable brooch fragment of early-medieval date. The mount is sub-square in plan and is decorated on one face with a central ring-and-dot design around which are four more of the same - one in each corner. Between these features are small squares consisting of four smaller raised squares. The reverse is flat and undecorated though appears to bear the remains of a square mount in one corner. The metal has a shiny dark reddish-brown patina and survives in good condition. The fragment is 23.2mm long, 23mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 4.5g.

Copper alloy penannular brooch of Dickinson's Group G1.7 (Dickinson 1982, 49, Fig. 4. The ring is round sectioned and undecorated with two flattened, lozenge shaped terminals each of which bears an incised ring on one face. The pin is made from a strip of sheet metal, one end of which is wrapped around the ring. It is hog-backed, pushed down into the brooch's ring.
