An extremely worn and corroded 3rd-century copper-alloy Roman radiate of uncertain Gallic emperor, either Tetricus I or Victorinus, uncertain reverse and mint (269-274 AD; Reece issue period 13). Around a quarter to a third of the flan has been lost as a result of two old breaks.

The coin is a brockage, meaning the reverse depicts a negative impression of the obverse of the coin struck before, which has stuck to the die. In this case the reverse depicts a sunken radiate bust facing left. The coin is also pierced. The piercing is circular (diameter c.4mm) and situated behind the obverse crown.
