Part of a copper alloy object of uncertain date and purpose. Regularly ridged/waisted shaft, circular in section, terminating in two breaks, one at the thin section of a waisted part of the shaft (2.82mm diameter), and one after a fluted section at the 'head' (4.90mm diameter). The shaft has decoration at the widest points of the waisting, in the form of three parallel incised lines. The break at the wide/head end appears to be circled by a band of beading. The object could potentially be part of a stylus, a pin, a pipe tamper etc and would probably date to the Post Medieval/Modern date.

A cast copper alloy strap mount, with a rounded lobe on one terminal, and a Lis (or spear head) on the other. The reverse of the mount has two attachment hooks, one broken. 29.9mm long, 8.2mm wide, 2.4mm thick (excluding hooks) or 7.7mm thick (including hooks).
