A complete Iron Age copper alloy brooch of the La Tene I type dating to the 4th - 3rd century B.C. ' Wessex' Type, Hull's Type 1A. The brooch has a strongly arched faceted bow with a diamond-shaped cross section.. The top of the arch extends to form the tightly coiled spring with an axis bar and arched mock-spring. A complete cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch with some remaining gilding, c.AD 200-350. The front of the brooch is comprised of four concentric circular ridges starting at the edge of the brooch and going into a small circular ridge in the centre. Between the second and third of the raised ridges there remains a small portion of gilded ribbon decoration. On the reverse of the brooch the catchplate and pin remain intact, although the pin is slightly bent.

The spring is cast integrally with the bow and pin; there is a chord retention hook on the head with three coils to either side. The frame has a rectangular cross section, 2.1mm wide by 1.4mm thick; both faces have decoration in the form of a single line of pellets running all the way around. A Roman copper alloy Langton Down (Nertomarus) type brooch, dating to the period AD 25-60, with cylindrical wings and a bevelled bow with lozengiform cross section. The catchplate is mostly missing but was openwork with a single aperture. The spring and axis bar are housed within the wings, the pin is retained but is bent. The front or top of the head of the brooch has moulded decoration in the form of a triangle with three holes flanked by scroll mouldings to either side, similar to Hattatt's (2000) no.270, 'hooks and eyes' type. A complete cast silver annular brooch dating to the post Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1700), 25mm in diameter. The frame is 5.4mm wide, convex and undecorated, with a concave reverse and an internal diameter of 15mm. The pin is 20.9mm in length and made from a pointed strip of metal which is curled around a recessed bar in the frame. There is a break in the frame near this pin articulation. There are no maker's marks or hallmarks.
