Incomplete, Copper-alloy, Anglo-Saxon Small Long or Cruciform brooch. The bottom and the pin is missing from the brooch, plain in design with three extending points, one on each side. A pair of inside lines within the perimeter, rectangular in the middle of with the bottom arching outwards with the three extended points being rectangular with a small extended area going left. Two lines around the top of the arch, as the same with the bottom. Dating from 475 to 575.

Remains of a Roman, copper alloy, plate brooch. The brooch was circular and bore, in its centre, two concentric grooves surrounding a recess. These hollows are likely to have been filled with enamel although none survives. On the back of the brooch are the remains of the pin mount and catch plate. Diameter 25.9mm, Thickness 1.4mm, Mass 2.40g. Brooches of this type are dated to the 2nd century AD

Copper alloy brooch of Iron Age date. The brooch was made from a single piece of copper alloy its pin, now missing, being linked to the bow through a single spiral turn on one side of the head. The bow is flat, its back decorated with a longitudinal band of incised, close-set, transverse, zig-zags. At each end of this band is a zone of finely incised, close-set lines. Copper alloy brooch of Late Roman/Early Medieval Armbrustfibel type' and of probable Spanish origin. The brooch is simple and consist of a high, round sectioned bow marked with incised 'roped' decoration. Fragment from the foot of a Roman brooch of indeterminate type. The foot terminates in a disc which is separated from the end of the brooch by a narrow waist. What remains of the bow is a thin strip of metal expanding slightly as towards the arch. Beneath this is the thin web of a catch plate the surviving edge of which is slightly curved to hold the pin. Length 33.7mm, Width 14.9mm Thickness 7.0mm, Mass 3.59g. Insufficient remains to allow this brooch to be classified but the fragment is likely to have been part of a 'Trumpet' or 'Headstud' brooch of 1st or 2nd century date.

Brooch of Central European, Bronze Age, type, c.1100-800 BC. It is made from a single length of 2.7mm diameter, copper alloy wire, one end of which is a tightly wound to form a six turn spiral. From this the wire is bent back on itself to form a hook-like catch plate. The wire is twisted back and forth to form five, figure of 8 loops on the end of which is an integral pin. A copper alloy Roman Hod Hill type brooch dating to AD 43-75. The brooch has rolled tubular wings that would have held the pin support, the interior of the tube is filled with iron corrosion suggesting the bar was made of iron, the top of the pin is still in place. Only the top of the bow remains, this consists of a transverse bar followed by an oval panel.

Fragmentary remains of the wings show they have a concave back but the ping attachment mechanism is missing. The bow appears to be undecorated except for a recessed band that runs down the middle. Copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch. Pierced lugs on either end of the wings hold the pin axis bar, the spring is made from nine curles, the pin now distorted is complete. The face of the brooch is decorated with a triple recessed band that runs down the centre of the band , this terminals in the middle of the bow where there is a recessed double transverse band, after which the lower part of the brooch is truncated resulting in the loss of the catch plate.
