The frame is decorated with continuous transverse incised bands or ridges on the front surface, some of which are inlaid with a darker material, possibly niello. Silver annular brooch that has a circular frame that is square cross-section. The frame is decorated with a line of closely spaced pellets on the face and reverse that are bordered by a raised band on both the inside and outside edges.  A constriction for the pin on one side of the frame retains the silver pin, this has an annular loop secured around constriction, the shaft of the pin has a circular cross-section and narrows to a point. An identical example was found at Tytherington in South Gloucestershire and recorded at GLO-315581 (2013T391).
