An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled disc brooch of Roman date, circa (AD 80 - 250). The pin is now missing and the catchplate and lug at the reverse are damaged. The brooch is flat and circular in plan. There are oval shaped protruding knops located at the outer edges placed either side of the pin mechanism at the reverse. The upper part of the object is broadly rectangular. The object then tapers and curves into a bow and terminates with a patinated break. An incomplete copper alloy trumpet type brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 75-175). The object has a round head with concave reverse to hold the now missing lug and pin mechanism. From the head the bow tapers sharply downwards. Roughly one third of the way down the bow is a mirrored trefoil-type motif with the three leaves in a line above and below each other and what appears to be the remains of red enamelling in the void between. Beneath this is a semi-circular lug with a circular central perforation. Inside of the perforation are the remnants of the axis bar. An incomplete, corroded copper alloy Roman brooch (c. AD 75-175). The head is circular in shape and is not a solid piece of copper alloy, instead being hollow on the inside. Much of the head is missing, including the right wing of the crossbar. The partial left wing of the crossbar is 6.14mm long, 4.87mm wide and 1.73mm thick.
