A small cast copper alloy fragment comprising a round semi-circular sectioned knob with a double ridged collar and a portion of a sub rectangular plate. The reverse is flat with a ridge at the base of the terminal. This is potentially either a terminal from a Roman strap end (cf. HESH-089EA8), or an early medieval brooch fragment, perhaps from a small cruciform brooch (cf. Martin Type 2, e.g. YORYM-118707 or YORYM-13ED43) or an imitative small-long type.
