A pin of silver, probably from a medieval annular brooch or possibly a buckle. The attachment loop is delineated from the otherwise unornamented main part of the pin by a ridge; this is raised on the former outer surface of the pin and only represented as two lateral protrusions from the rear. Similar items on the database are recorded under both buckle and brooch pins, SUR-D5E7F6 being morphologically very close except for the much thinner attachment loop.
