Incomplete Roman copper alloy headstud brooch. The brooch has rectangular wings with a cylindrical case across the reverse containing an axis bar for a hinged pin. An incomplete copper alloy pin survives though is misshapen. Both wing-faces are decorated with a vertical row of three recessed triangular cells containing red enamel, and a vertical row of two triangular cells containing blue enamel. Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast openwork brooch in the form of a three-petalled floret within a heart-shaped frame with nine small spurs projecting from its outer edge and a slightly larger knop on its cleft. A coiled strand within the loop represents the stalk of the flower. A short bar on the back, broken at both its ends and perhaps serving as part of the pin gear, bears the partial legend: J W SOAM(--). Thickly gilded overall. A fragment from a very incomplete copper-alloy artefact, probably a Roman brooch, probably a trumpet headed bow brooch of 2nd century AD, (or possibly a plate brooch of mid to late 1st to 2nd century AD). It is likely that all edges represent a broken edge although some small areas might be extreme wear to a true edge. An early Roman copper alloy Dolphin brooch dating circa AD75-150. The brooch has cylindrical wings which contain an axis bar for a hinged pin. The pin is missing. Both wings are decorated on the front with three bead-and-reels which perhaps imitate a spring. The bow is D-shaped in section, comma shaped in profile, and tapers to the foot. A shallow rib is located on the crest of the bow. A large catchplate survives. The brooch as a dark brown-red patina.

A possible fragment of headplate from an Early Medieval radiate headed brooch. The headplate appears to have been semi-circular and flat. The perimeter is castellated. The headplate is recessed and decorated with a perimeter line of reserve metal. Two sub-triangular panels of reserve metal also survive. A lug for a spring survives on the reverse, apparently being one of a pair that held an iron spring. Iron corrosion is visible on the reverse.
