The top of the brooch consists of a sub-trapezoidal plate that curves and narrows toward the base. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a thin raised circumferential border and triangular upper cell with minor amount of blue enamel, below which is an ovate cell with no retained email. A Medieval silver annular brooch, dating to AD 1150 - 1400. The brooch is circular with an oval sectioned frame, although the frame is complete there is a break in the frame.The frame is undecorated.  The pin survives and is attached by a trapezoidal loop, which widens towards the pin shaft.
