Medieval gold and enamel brooch, 23mm long, 22mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 5.31g. The frame is heart shaped (a tapering pointed base with two curved upper edges) with a flat rectangular cross-section. It has a raised border on its upper side which has been filled with white enamel interspersed by raised star-like motifs in gold. Only about half of the enamel remains. Outside the border of the enamel, the brooch has a flat scalloped outer border. There is a pin constriction in the centre of the upper edge, with a gold pin hinged on it. A gold brooch with a plain thin frame formed into the shape of an asymmetric heart. The brooch is delicate, but complete. The frame is 1.5mm thick and eliptical in cross-section. The pin is present and is secured around the frame at the point where the side of the heart is more accentuated, or outwardly curved, and is narrowed to accomodate it. The collar of the pin is 3.5mm long and is curled around to fit the narrowed frame exactly, It has been soldered to create the impression of a solid tube. Fragment from an early medieval gold brooch or mount. Rectangular fragment of very fine sheet gold with a filigree border and decoration (from one end to another) of a filigree S-scroll, a now empty raised circular cell, two filigree annulets, then a raised rectangular cell containing what appears to be possibly degraded blue enamel (now mostly opaque white). The reverse is undecorated, although the impression of the cells and filigree can be seen. Length 17.90mm, width 9.30mm, overall thickness 2.70mm, thickness of sheet 0.18mm, weight 0.79g.

Roman gold and silver oval brooch, 21mm long, 19mm wide and weighing 6.37grams. The brooch consists of an oval plate which is coated in silver on the reverse. The upper surface is decorated with three concentric ovals of gold ropework. The outer one is wider and higher than the inner two. These have incised lines running at oblique angles in differing directions, which gives the effect of a herringbone pattern.
