A copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, Langton Down type, c.AD 40-70. It has a cylindrical spring cover, partly un-curled in the centre and exposing three to four coils of the spring within. Both ends of the spring case are incomplete and end in old breaks. The case is decorated on the front with double incised lines along the top; these are heavily worn. A Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, c.AD 75-200. The brooch is incomplete, badly corroded, and is missing the lower part of the bow, the spring, and the pin. There are hints of vertical incisions on the wings on each side of the bow. The bow is pitted and has the remains of a raised annulet forming the headstud. The bow ends in an old break and is missing the foot and catchplate. The reverse of the brooch is undecorated and the bow is concave. An incomplete Iron Age copper alloy La Tène III Nauheim type brooch, c.100 BC- AD 100. It is incomplete insofar as the coil has broken and the pin is now missing. There are two coils in the spring, it loops twice over the front of the brooch, before curling back underneath itself and curls in a single loop. This is where the pin would have been attached, though it has since broken off. After the spring there is a narrow neck that quickly forms the main body of the brooch, measuring 10mm wide. Incomplete Post Medieval-Modern copper alloy brooch, c.AD 1800-1950. This is the main plate of a brooch, lozenge in plan with a central raised section. The outer rim is decorated with a scalloped edge with a pellet in each divot, and a floral decoration at each pointed end. The reverse has the remains of the pin mechanism and catchplate at each end.

Fragment of copper alloy Roman brooch, c.AD 100-250. This is the boss of an umbonate disc brooch, made from a thin sheet of copper alloy with the remains of enamel decoration on the obverse surface. This decoration appear to consist of eight segments of enamel, alternating red and blue, around a central circle of red enamel. Only two segments of enamel survive, although hints of colour can be seen in the centre, one blue segment, and two of the red segments. For a similar, more complete example, see YORYM-AB27EC.

This is a double-lugged type fibula, with the bow ending in an old break. The arms are semi-cylindrical over a flange pierced with two holes at the centre of the head, one of which retains a fragment of the copper alloy spring chord. The rest of the spring and the pin is missing. The bow is circular in cross section and undecorated. The foot and catchplate are missing. The item is heavily worn and has a dark green patina.

Fragment of an Early Medieval cast copper alloy small square headed brooch, c.AD 400-600. This is the head of a small square headed brooch, square in planwith small knops at the top and the right. The left side would have had a small knop but has since broken off. The start of the brooch bow can be seen at the bottom of the head, before ending in an old break. The reverse face has two parallel stubs, which would have held the pin spring mechanism. There are no decorations on either face.

The reverse of the top of the bow is hollow. The headstud is integral and has an annular cell for enamel. The bow is decorated with a lattice pattern. An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy openwork brooch, c.AD 100-200. This brooch features a central plate formed from four symmetrical discs with off-centre open apetures, which give these discs a crescent-like appearance. These disces are arranged around a central, circular disc with a large circular apeture, with triangular pieces of plate between the four outer discs. There are the remains of blue enamel in the triangular gaps and this strongly suggests the crescents were decorated with enamel too.

Fragment of a Early Medieval cast copper alloy equal armed brooch, c.AD 430-700. A heavily corroded fragment of an equal-armed brooch, cast as a single piece with gilding in the recess. This fragment consists of most of the bow and one terminal with the remains of a pin lug on the reverse face. The obverse face is decorated by chipped/incised lines picking out possible zoomorphic designs. Unfortunately, too little remains of this brooch to determine the original design.
