A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and enclose the spring, which is held on a copper alloy spindle in a double lugged flange at the centre. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, sub rectangular in cross section and decorated with a groove along the spine. The rest of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled Polden Hill type brooch of Mackreth (2011) type CD H/PH 2.a2 dating c. AD 75-175.
The brooch is missing the pin and lower bow. The wings have a circular cross-section and one end is missing to an oblique break. They are divided on the reverse by the vertical central slot to accommodate the pin. The flat pierced attachment plate survives within the slot, but the pin is missing to a worn break. An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled 'headstud' brooch of Mackreth Headstud type 1 dating c. AD 75-200.
The brooch is almost complete with the pin missing. The wings have a circular section with two longitudinal grooves on the reverse divided by the vertical central slot to accommodate the missing pin. A copper alloy pin from an annular brooch of uncertain type but broadly of later Roman to early medieval date. The pin shank has a circular cross section 2mm in diameter and is bent mid way along its length. The articulation loop is 5.6mm wide and made from a flattened terminal which has been curled around into a loop. It is decorated with a medial ridge.

An incomplete copper alloy brooch, dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period c.AD 25-60. It is a one-piece Colchester brooch, Mackreth 2011, Standard British Colchester, plate 23, no.92. The head of the brooch comprises short rectangular wings with an integral forward-facing hook projecting from the centre of the top edge. A copper alloy Crossbow brooch fragment, dating to the Roman period (c.AD 350-380). It has a rectangular section head with a collared onion knob at either end, one is missing, with a thin stiff copper alloy wire which would have passed through the head of the brooch, but is broken, this serves as an axis bar for the stub of a hinged pin. At the centre of the bow, between the onion knobs and at the centre of the body's head, is a circular perforation. The body, catchplate and pin of the brooch are missing. It is a Keller Type 4, Crossbow brooch.

Fragment of a Romano-British Colchester Type Hinged Pin brooch dating from the 1st-2nd century AD (c. AD43-120).The T-shaped head has broken rolled cylindrical arms that curve out slightly to the trapezoidal cross sectioned bow and has the remnants of a cast on loop. The bow tapers gradually to the foot, which has broken off. The bow is decorated with a cast molded design that is divided into two parts including a panel with vertical moulded ridges, and a plain lower half.
