A post-medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.1600-1700. The brooch consists of a circular frame, 23.9mm in diameter that has a convex frame 3,2mm wide with rounded exterior surfaces set at an oblique angle. The reverse is concave. There is a pin constriction flanked by collars with pairs of transverse decorative grooves. The pin is retained and has a flat triangular cross section. There are no maker's marks.

A complete cast silver annular brooch dating to the post Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1700), 25mm in diameter. The frame is 5.4mm wide, convex and undecorated, with a concave reverse and an internal diameter of 15mm. The pin is 20.9mm in length and made from a pointed strip of metal which is curled around a recessed bar in the frame. There is a break in the frame near this pin articulation. There are no maker's marks or hallmarks.

Description: A late medieval or post-medieval (c.1400-1700) silver annular brooch, complete except for a crack in the frame across the constriction for the pin. The frame is triangular in cross-section (max.4.8x1.5mm) with a vertical inside edge (1.5mm high), convex upper surface and flat reverse. All faces are undecorated. At the constriction for the pin, the frame (2.6mm wide) widens to 4.8 and 5.5mm, where the terminals are surmounted by a transverse ridge c.3mm thick. The pin is bent and 19.8mm in length. A post-medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.1600-1700. The frame has a constriction and a notch on opposing sides, for the pin. The maker's mark IG is stamped on the pin shank in relief, within a sub-rectangular background. The frame is solid and triangular in cross-section, the underside being flat, the upper surface being curved and the inside edge being vertical and 1.3mm high (the outside edge is 0.7mm thick). A small, complete, woman's dress clasp, with pin, dating to the late 18th century AD. The outer surface is decorated with a stamped design of raised ovals interspersed with raised ridges, to imitate gems in a setting; the reverse surface is flat and undecorated. The pin is wrapped simply around a break in the raise decorative pattern of the brooch frame, allowing for free movement but fixing the pin in place upon the frame. An openwork post medieval gilded brooch with a central rectangular setting. The circumference of the brooch comprises 18 rounded projections which lie adjacent to 18 circular apertures. The surviving setting appears to be a purple stone, possibly zircon or topaz. The pin is missing.
