An incomplete, copper alloy brooch of the Post Medieval period (AD1700-1900).
The brooch consists of a continuous coil of wire, forming six circular forms intertwined with each other in an elongated fashion. The whole brooch has been bent forward breaking the coil at one point, leaving the brooch as a curved object. The reverse of the brooch still bears a pin catching loop and and two lugs remaining from the hinge although the pin is missing. There is evidence of decoration on some surfaces but the actual design is unclear. There is also evidence that the brooch was gilded.

An incomplete, copper alloy, lugged disc brooch of uncertain date. It has similarities to Roman and Early Medieval brooches, but is probably Post Medieval to Modern, perhaps AD 1750 - 1950. It is a circular flat brooch with a narrow and plain raised rim round the front face. Projecting from the outer side of the rim are eight equidistantly spaced hermispherical knops, one of which is partially abraded. The front face and the inner side of the rim are gilded.

The tapering silver sheet pin has limited decoration in the form of two incised lines near the constriction on the hoop. Copper alloy brooch, as kindly identified by the finder. A thin [1.5mm by 1mm] straight-sided strip of copper alloy with diagonal grooves along the entire length of one side to produce a cabled effect, bent and curled into a form resembling a figure from the notation of sheet music, or possibly a florid initial letter. Probably an individually made piece or 'sport'. The ends of the strip are brazed together where they pass each other at one end of the object, though no fastening gear remains. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.

Copper alloy and glass brooch fragment. An oval pressed metal frame with eleven of twelve vaguely star-shaped collets equidistantly distributed along its outer band, six still occupied by rounded ruby coloured paste stones. A central oval recess has a pair of drilled holes in its base, presumably for the setting of a larger stone. A copper alloy annular brooch of medieval to post-medieval date (c. 1450 - 1700). The brooch is slightly convex, the inner rim is raised and the surface decorated with moulding, what appears to spatulate leaves around flowers or fruit. The outer edge is chipped and abraded. There is a hole 1.3 mm diameter with some corrosion around and in it, this would probably have housed a wire pin. The back of the brooch appears undecorated. The brooch is very similar to a brooch from the Thames (LON-8492D2).
The brooch has an overall diameter of 25.5 mm, the inner aperture is 12.4 mm diameter.…

Possible part of a disc buckle or annular brooch, the surface showing evidence of either a copper-alloy proportion in the body of the object or traces of remaining enamel. The upper surface cosists of a circular central raised boss, encircled by a bead border that is in itself enclosed in another, larger circle. These are then totally enclosed by a concave ring and a final outer border. The underside is the reverse of this, except that the beaded border and enclosing concentric circle are reduced to a simpler form.

Copper alloy probable brooch fragment. An openwork frame comprising an oval loop of drawn wire [diameter 1.3mm] with fragmentary curving wires [diameter 0.9mm] attached at either end, possibly hammered where the inner and [putative] outer loops meet. The display face of the oval loop is nicked to achieve a billeted effect. Rust appears where the inner and outer loops meet.
