A complete cast copper-alloy medieval brooch dating from the 14th century (c.AD 1300-1400).
The brooch is hexagonal with concave sides that flare out to six angular points, and is plano-convex in cross-section. It is decorated with three short grooves on each side, giving the appearance of rectangular blocks. At the centre of one of the sides is a complete cut sheet copper alloy pin that is wrapped around one of the grooves, the pin gently tapers to a rounded point. Traces of gilding on the decorated side. Undecorated flat reverse. Dark green patina.

The circular brooch is circular and has a constriction which the copper-pin is wrapped around; the frame is recessed and narrowed. The pin moves freely and has a pointed end terminal. The front face is decorated with a repeating pattern formed from 20 incised rings with a slightly raised dot in the centre. The reverse is undecorated. The annular brooch has a mid-green patina.

A complete Medieval silver annular brooch with an intact pin dating to c.AD 1200-1300. The brooch is annular, plano-convex and D-shaped in cross-section. One side is decorated with thirteen globular knops each decorated with punched annulets. The silver cast pin is wrapped around the constriction and has a collar below the loop which carries two transverse grooves, the pin tapers to a blunt point. The reverse is undecorated.

The brooch has a plain circular band, rounded in cross-section. The cast pin has a moulded collar at the junction of the loop and shaft, decorated with short diagonal grooves. The frame is circular in shape and cross-section; it is squashed with broken terminals. The brooch is undecorated and does not have a constriction for the pin. The pin is formed from a tapering strip simply bent around the hoop to form the head, at the narrow end, both sides have a slight indentation.
