A cast copper alloy Anglo Saxon button brooch of Suzuki (2008) class L, with gilding on the front of the brooch. The brooch depicts an incised circle, just inside the rim. Inside the circle there is a depiction of some sort of head. The head depicts a face with sub-triangular eyes, T shaped nose and eyebrows and pointed helmet. The reverse is undecorated, but the broken remains of the pin lug and the catch plate survive. The pin lug is a single lug, with a hole through the centre: the top is broken off.
