An incomplete silver strip - possibly part of a finger-ring or cane ferrule - of uncertain date. The upper surface has a double-wavy band of incised decoration; the underside is plain. The object measures 18mm long, 6mm wide and 0.2mm thick. The weight is 0.69g. As an object of uncertain date and function it does not fall within the Treasure Act 1996.

A cast silver element comprising two figures, a female standing nude with one knee raised, a smaller female figure next to her whose bust ends in a shaft. Broken off at the base. The function of this artefact is uncertain, though it is certainly post 16th Century. The metal (which might be base silver) and facture suggest a relatively recent date. Due to it's undiagnostic nature it is therefore my view that this does not represent Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act 1996.

The find consists of a rough, cylindrical ingot with rounded ends and hammered surfaces; length, 38.1 mm; width, 12.4 mm; weight 30.58 g. It does not conform to the usual shape of either Roman or Early Medieval ingots and has no distinguishing features. It is therefore undiagnostic and undatable, so does not qualify as Treasure under the stipulated criteria of the Treasure Act. We recommend that the Secretary of State should disclaim the Crown's interest in this find and should be grateful if the Coroner would authorise its return.

Circular in shape and flat with a decorated front face, which has a border with small straight lines within it, there is then a central circular field which contains an octagonal probable flower motif with internal divisions depicting petals; the field behind the flower contains diagonal lines. This fragment, about 1/3rd of a silver finger ring, now distorted, consists of a flat plain band which expands fairly sharply to a rectangular bezel with engraved decoration consisting of a transverse band of short closely spaced lines at the junction between band and bezel, a circle with four lines through it, and a further transverse band of lines across which the bezel is broken.
