A complete cast and probably wrought copper alloy misshapen object of Unknown date. Length (if straightened) 102.0mm, maximum width 2.6mm and maximum thickness 1.8mm. Weight 2.89g. The object is slender and may originally have been straight. Throughout most of its length it is rectangular in cross-section but has rounded corners. It has an off-centre longitudinal circular perforation which has a diameter of 5.5mm. The base is flat. The weight, which is crudely made, is in good condition. It has several old dents and scuffs.

An incomplete silver strip - possibly part of a finger-ring or cane ferrule - of uncertain date. The upper surface has a double-wavy band of incised decoration; the underside is plain. Undated copper alloy fitting, 38mm long, 16mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a dark brown patina and weighs 3.43grams. The object consists of a circular sectioned loop which has the remains of a straight loop or plate attached to it. The loop is attached to a folded rectangular sheet. This has slightly tapering sides and is folded to create a rectangular section with an overlap securing it.

A complete and corroded cast copper alloy and silver-plated finger ring of Unknown date. Maximum diameter 25.0mm, width 6.2mm and 2.0mm thick. Weight 6.54g. The ring is slightly misshapen and is sub-oval in plan. The plain hoop is D-shaped in cross-section and has a width of 6.2mm and a thickness of 2.0mm. The ring is severely corroded and in poor condition. Traces of silver can be seen on the outer face of the hoop.

It is mainly in the form of a sub-square tablet which has a maximum thickness of 6.1mm and a minimum thickness of 3.4mm. In plan, the tablet has rounded corners. A complete cast copper alloy ring of Unknown date. Maximum diameter: 14.4mm; width: 4.2mm. Weight: 3.13g. In plan, the periphery of the ring is almost circular but is slightly eccentric and has a maximum diameter of 14.2mm. The off-centre opening is circular and has a diameter of 6.3mm. The inner and outer faces are circumferentially carinated. However, the carination is slightly more pronounced on the inner face. The object, which is pitted and slightly damaged in places, has a well developed mid-green patina overall. The patina covers the pitting and damage.

A complete cast copper alloy object, possibly a stamp. Date unknown. Length: 36.3mm; width: 5.2mm and 5.2mm thick. Weight: 6.73g. The central part of the object is square in cross-section and measures 5.2mm x 5.2mm. Two of the faces taper and splay slightly to form a flat end which measures 6.7mm x 1.7mm. This flat end is burred over slightly as if it might have been hammered. One of the edges has a number of dents which appear to be old. The two strips are of unknown date.

Treasure case 2007 T575. A small spherical droplet of gold, measuring 5.5mm in diameter and weighing 4 grams. The surface is smooth and only slightly pitted. There is no decoration though some evidence for small hammer marks on the rod. Due to the undiagnostic nature of the find it can not be securely dated to pre-1707 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.

Treasure case : 2007 T178 A metal object of unusual form, consisting of a central cylinder, which is hollow, though sealed at both ends. Each end is decorated with a band of cabling or rope-work. Entwined around the cylinder is a knot of twisted wires contained within a cabled border. The object is gold, but of indeterminate date. Dimensions: length 17 mm, width 14 mm. As the find can not be securely dated to pre-1707 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.

When complete, this object may have been circular or partially circular in plan. If it were circular, the outer diameter would have been about 41.0mm. It is flat on the upper and lower faces and each edge is convex. The upper face has seven sub-triangular depressions. Five of the depressions have traces of a dark grey substance within them. At each end there is an old abraded break. The object is pitted overall and has a mid to light green patina.
